Honest comparison
Memport vs ExportSnaps
ExportSnaps recently rebranded to FixMyExport — same product, desktop apps for Mac and Windows plus mobile apps. Like Memport, it fixes the stripped dates and lost captions in Snapchat's export before the Sept 26, 2026 deletion deadline. Here is where the two actually differ.
| Memport | ExportSnaps / FixMyExport | |

The short version
FixMyExport is a serious tool, and if your export is enormous — hundreds of gigabytes — and you want to work through it on a big screen with your own Google Drive or Dropbox as the destination, it's a credible choice. They've clearly put real work into overlay merging and large-library handling.
Memport is built for the person whose memories should simply end up back on their iPhone: one app, pick your export ZIPs (all of them at once), and everything lands in Photos with dates, places, and captions restored — no computer, no file juggling, and $5 less. Most of our users start and finish the whole rescue in one sitting on the phone.
