The short version
SnapSavior has some genuinely nice touches — browsable thumbnails of every memory before you export, and a map view where you can select memories by drawing a box around a place. If your phone and computer are both completely out of storage, processing in their cloud is a real advantage, and $7 is a fair price.
The trade-off is the round trip: your entire memory archive gets uploaded to someone else's servers, and what comes back is a ZIP you still have to get into your photo library yourself. Memport skips both — the rescue happens on the iPhone your memories are going to live on, they're in Photos the moment it finishes, and nothing is ever uploaded. For eight years of private snaps, we think that's the right default.
